Driveway Fencing and Side Access Door
Refurbishment of this front garden to include a new stepped larch-lap fence, fence posts and trellis plus a new side access door made to fit this narrow access between house and garage.
Built to give more privacy and aesthetic appeal to the front garden, the step-down near the gate for safety to ensure cars reversing out are seen and to increase the field of view for the driver. At customer request we added trellises to allow climbing plants to grow.
A few bricks were removed where the posts are placed to allow them to be postcreted in place. The bricks then scribed around the post and regrouted giving a neat and seamless finish.
The Door was added for security and fits in well next to the garage. A simple braced mortice and tenon faced with tongue and groove paneling, a lead cap was also added over the top of the frame for weather protection.
