Matching Fitted Work Desks
Matching floating work desks for teenager’s bedrooms with drawers under unit in thick birch laminate.
This deluxe duo was intended to be a modern and a more mature addition whilst also being functional and robust. The desktop is cut from a full sheet of top tier 25mm birch ply, fitted to the wall with heavy duty steel brackets which are bolted to the wall. all facing edges are 45* chamfered. and finished with a hardwearing PU lacquer.
Drawer units are soft close and use a handleless design, which also act as a support for the desk. The only variation between the two being the drawer unit position and an extension to allow for this to provide a more comfortable and spacious seated position when facing the window.
As a final touch, we added multi-coloured LED strip lighting. This further improves the look and will come in handy for when the room gets used as a discotech.
